History: The year was 1928 and Reeves began in a rented 15 x 50 foot portion of what had been a car dealership showroom on the corner of Main Street in Clayton, Georgia. Today, many years and growing expansions later, Reeves encompasses much more of Main Street. Lewis Reeves, Sr. had a dream for a family business and today his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren keep that dream alive, as many of them continue the daily tasks of the Reeves businesses. Along with a full service ACE Hardware and Building Supply, the store features a complete home furnishings department and unique gift shop.
